In 2012, starting from the rooftop of a chicken coop, the sharing economy based on solar power kicked off along the Provincial Highway No. 17. For years, we have been addressing issue of labor drain, installing solar power plants in towns and villages with sluggish growth and offering benefits of rents and electricity refunds of 20 years. Hence, revenues of local citizens rose, and so for the local income level.
Known as the “Island of Typhoon”, Taiwan is invaded by 4.7 typhoons per year in average. Through installation of photovoltaic panels, architecture structure of poultry house is improved. Verified by structural engineers, it can withstand impacts of typhoons and earthquake at the normal level, which reduces the risk of loss due to extreme weather events for farmers.
